I was given Amy’s name a few years ago and have never looked anywhere else!!! I volunteer with a rescue and we get asked to take dogs that need more help than others and we needed a true professional’s help. We have sent more than 20 dogs to Amy for assessment or full board and train since 2016. Because of Amy, we have been able to rescue dogs that normally wouldn’t stand a chance being rescued from the shelter and have gone on to forever homes with a great life ahead of them. Amy is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate to not just the dog that we send to her for training, but she also listens to and shows understanding towards the people involved in the dog’s life. She treats each dog as though they are her own and I know that when sending a dog to her they will only receive a positive training experience. Each dog comes away from her with the confidence and knowledge needed to be a well-balanced dog. Amy takes the time to make sure the family has all the tools they need for success, setting everyone one up for a positive future is her goal. Amy is always available to answer questions in the future as well, if needed. I have recommended her to countless friends and family members, they are all in agreement with me, Amy is the best!

We are first-time dog owners and have been working with Amy wince our American Bulldog was 4 months old. With her thoughtful observations, her clear instructions and measured approach to training, she has helped us navigate the early months of dog ownership. As “Rosie” has turned adolescent and surpassed her first birthday, Amy’s helped us to progress to more complex commands, and manage our expectations as our pooch grows. Amy was recommended to us from a friend, and after working with her for over 8 months, we are at the top of Amy’s fan list! We consider ourselves, and our bulldog, well on the way to being fully trained.

We enrolled our labradoodle Willow in puppy preschool with Amy Robinson as soon we were able to do so last summer and have since also completed adult basic obedience, advanced obedience and tricks classes! Amy’s experience, methods and relaxed style were invaluable in the development of Willow. We learned so much as owners about how dogs think and simple interventions that helped correct behavior as she developed. Willow’s behavior and skills blossomed as we participated in classes and then practiced at home. She has grown into a fantastic one-year old in large part due to our experiences with Amy. The class sizes were small and the hour sessions were a perfect length of time. The very reasonable cost and time investment were so worth it and will benefit us for all of Willow’s life. We are excited to continue with additional classes and look forward to the outdoor space in the new clinic location! I highly recommend any level of puppy or dog training with Amy. A million times yes to recommending Amy to work with not only your dog but YOU as well! There is no doubt in my mind that the adults in the room learned WAY more than the pups! Amy is so educated and real with her insight that you feel that you can ask her about anything. Countless days, I was able to send Amy an email, text or video of something that we were working on or had questions about and she was responsive and informative on her suggestions back. We recommend Amy to others and oftentimes find ourselves recommending Amy's techniques to others! Hands down will take every dog to Amy!
