The K9 State of Minds Approach
My methods are common sense- praise a dog when they do well and correct them when they don’t. You don’t need to intimidate your dog or cause pain in order to get the response that you want- it’s more important to communicate effectively and give clear and consistent expectations.

I am a Certified Master Dog Trainer with 21 years of experience. I graduated from The Academy of K9 Education in Fresh Meadows, NY and have worked with a variety of breeds, ages and skill levels.
Samantha Winters
Hi! My name is Samantha Winters and I am the newest member of the K9 State of Mind team. I am the proud dog mom to Daisy, a crazy and happy black lab, and am excited to get to know all of you as I gain more experience assisting with group obedience classes and helping to make the board & train pups the very best they can be!
